Your first interaction with the Fairdell Software-developed application HexCmp will be a pleasurable one. The first time you will interact with HexCmp will be when you download the application off the web and onto your computer. You will like that the download takes very, very little time to complete. It can’t take long since it weighs in at less than 1MB.

Once the download completes, you will have to install HexCmp on your Windows-powered computer. The setup wizard will take you through all the necessary steps and a few clicks later it will all be done. The whole installation process is fairly simple and should go along smoothly and without a hitch.

After you go through these fairly minor steps, it is time to take a big leap. It is time to start using the HexCmp. One question immediately comes to mind: what can this application do? The brief answer to this question is this: HexCmp is a hex file comparison application and a hex editor. With this application you can compare files in binary format and edit files.
